Veterans Day Tribute

Happy Veterans Day!

Like most Americans I am a very busy person on Veterans Day. I am out in the public eye and have a lot of opportunity to engage with Veterans.

I personally thank and salute soldiers I meet in daily life and I lend a helping hand to wounded warriors whenever I get the chance. I respect, honor, and truly feel nothing but admiration for these individuals, injured or not.

Both of my grandfathers, Lyle and Dale, served their time with the US military, as did my step father Bill and my Pops, Brent ❤️.

I was raised with respect, manners, and a hard work ethic thanks to these individuals (Mom, you helped too 😉 ). So it is with my heart, my soul, and my life that I freely pledge my thanks to the warriors that still live and the warriors that made the ultimate sacrifice.

Most of the people in my life did not have to sacrifice their lives in the end, at least not for country. But for those that have, I want you to know that I will carry the values set forth by you and always teach my children about the importance of self sacrifice. The importance of community. The importance of love. The importance of following your dreams and letting your fire burn.

It is because of these people that I am able to write this freely on social media. Thanks to them I have not had to make the sacrifice of my own life. Thanks to them I get to raise my family in a country that allows me to express my beliefs and raise my children as I see fit.

So, truly, thank you ladies and gentlemen. Your sacrifice, is appreciated by many of us. For those still fighting: Thank you for your continued support. I may not be on the battlefield with you, but I fight a different battle. You give me the courage and fire to do what is necessary should the time ever come. You inspire me to stand up to the face of evil. You inspire me to help others.

Thank you.

Love,
